Wedding Bands and Allergies
Have you ever meet someone with a metal allergy? It is quite annoying to the person that is suffering from it. First off they usually can’t wear any gold because most all gold rings contain nickel. Nickel is usually the cause of skin reactions. Luckily there have been new ceramic wedding bands for men. This is great because there is that alternative. Ceramic is great to avoid most metal allergies. The only problem is they don’t have that classic look you are acustom to with traditional wedding bands. So they won’t work for a lot of people.
In the past a lot of people have worn platinum and palladium rings. These rings are each 95 percent pure so unless you are allergic to that specific metal you are safe to wear them. A lot of popular palladium rings are made a long side platinum rings. In fact the 8mm palladium rings are just like the platinum ones only the weigh a lot less. Really that is the only difference in the two types of metals they come from the same place. One metal that won’t work for people with metal allergies is dome tungsten rings. They contain nickel.
